Lyra is originally from Brisbane, Australia. She never met her parents, having been left with her gran and pop when she was a wee babe. She lived there until she was eighteen. When she turned eighteen she was recruited by a dark wizard by the name of Nikolai to serve under him as a sort of house keeper/live in maid. He treated her decently enough but she didn’t approve of many of the things that he did. Eventually he disappeared off of the face of the planet (assumed dead), and she was left to live in his house in Britain all alone. She couldn’t handle the place all by her lonesome and moved to a little house on a busy street in the U.S.
Because of Lyra’s immediate immersion into a full time job at the age when she was supposed to be attending college, she never had a chance to until she was able to live on her own. More her less on her own, she shares the house with her friend Shawn Circe. She currently is in her third year of college, working on getting her bachelor’s in human behavioral psychology. She finds the subject matter fascinating, plus she’s a natural at reading faces.
So currently Lyra shares a house with her friend Shawn Circe. He’s over four hundred years old and an incubus but it feels like they’ve known each other forever. They are best mates and make a lot of mischief when they are together. A lot of it involves her shape shifting into various animals or people to mess with whoever Shawn wants her to mess with.
